In 1983 I heard a Shadows instrumental for the first time and the rest is history.  

Like many others I didn't stop nagging my parents till I finally got a guitar and started taking lessons in 1984. During my 3 year course I also purchased an electric guitar and started playing along with my vinyl records and also started experimenting with echoes (endless tape mounted on a tapedeck). Even though it was frustrating at that time I now realize it was a good learning curve. 

After several years (1993) I applied for a position as bass player in a local sixties band The Eken Shadows. But .....I never handled a bassguitar before so had to learn the basics first and I did while joining the group. I also played lead guitar from time and after 30 years I'm still in that group we renamed in 1995 to "Gee Whizz".

In 2005 I started a solo act alongside Gee Whizz as The Dearhunter so I could focus more on instrumentals.  At my first try-out I got requests for more gigs.
